The existing structure of this 1960s home remained nearly unchanged, but it’s the combination of warm, tactile materials, soft lighting, bold art, and original details that give the space its sexy appeal. As you enter through a steel pivot door, your eyes are immediately drawn to the glamorous mirror block reflecting the lush surrounding shrubs. The entire ground floor features an African Afzelia wood ceiling, further emphasizing the sixties vibe.
Our Claystone plaster was applied to the floors, providing a raw yet refined finish that perfectly complements the space. The walls and furniture were treated with our MonoSoft plaster, adding a soft, natural texture that enhances the warm and inviting atmosphere. Another stylish addition is the chubby, thirteen-centimeter-thick door, which opens effortlessly with a gentle push. Its rounded edges and lack of handles allow it to blend seamlessly into the space, contrasting elegantly with the Claystone floors. The walnut kitchen island, the stripe of natural stone extending across doors and walls, the green lime paint on the walls, and the rounded walls and seating areas all contribute to the interior’s distinctive character.
